Hours and admission

Canterbury Museum is open every day (except Christmas Day)
Summer hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm (October – March)
Winter hours: 9.00 am – 5.00 pm (April – September)
Documentary Research Centre: open 1.00 pm to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday
General admission to the Museum is free, donations are appreciated.
Discovery entry is $2.00 per person, free entry for children under three.
