Māori Technology

Māori applied their skills and knowledge to develop tools in a new environment. Why did this technology need to be adapted to suit their survival needs and new lifestyle?

In this, one of our more popular lessons, students will explore and discuss their findings in the galleries and then try their hand at using replica tools based on those in the displays.
