This talk by Canterbury Museum Senior Curator Human History Julia Bradshaw explores the fluid definition of marriage during the New Zealand goldrushes and provides some colourful examples.

Julia Bradshaw has a background in South Island social history with a special interest in New Zealand’s gold-rushes and the experiences of women.
