Buy a beautiful piece of pottery to take home.
New ceramic works by members of the Canterbury Potters Association (CPA) will be on display and for sale at Canterbury Museum at CoCA from 7 November. These artworks will be added to the more than 160 ceramics on display in Form & Fire, an exhibition which celebrates Canterbury pottery from the 1960s to now. The 51st CPA exhibition features new works by 57 Kiwi artists, including guest exhibitor Rob Cloughley.
Rob has been working with clay for about 30 years and is the ceramics programme coordinator and lecturer at the Dunedin School of Art. His work draws on post-industrial imagery to create ceramic artworks that feel both organic and mechanical. Only the 56 artworks in the CPA show will be for sale.
The Canterbury Potters Association 51st Annual Exhibition runs from 7 to 24 November. Entry free; donations appreciated.
